How to configure different emails in Outlook?
Steps as described below for understanding complete configuration process.
• Begin with launch of internet explorer
• User need to have quick access to outlook express
• Moving further user will be redirected to inbox mail page
• User need to go to tool option and hit click on accounts option
• User need to select mail setup option
• User will be promoted to next page, internet account window will appear on screen
• Now user need to select mail option and then strike click on add option and finally on mail option and finally on new option available at left corner of webpage.
• Now hit click on next option
• Now user need to enter details of email account which need to be configured .User need to provide username, email address and password associated with that account, then hit click on next option
• User need to provide details of server setting .user need to select POP3 if user wish to receive email directly to outlook. If users wish to get email on hosting server then select IMAP.
• With POP3 user can store the emails for certain time duration. This option is not considered useful for huge majority of email recipients. It makes work of user easy with configuring email program to work with protocol
• IMAP-It is mostly suitable for people to access email from different location with port 143 and 993 port
• Both incoming and outgoing server need to be same for proper configuration, now hit click on next option
• User need to type full email address for account name. Enter password in desired field
• User need to hit click on next option. Once done with click, hit another click on finish option
• Now moving further with click on more setting option to make some precise modification
• User need to check setting for outgoing server. User need to make sure that check mark is done on option which states my outgoing server require authentication and on use same setting as incoming server.
• Further more select advance tab option
• Now user will see server port number 25 which is default for SMTP setting for outgoing server. If user face any issue with port, if not able to send message then choose port 26 as well.
• Now hit click on OK option and user will be reverted back to account setting page, strike click on next option
• Congratulations, it’s done.
